Nondiscrimination Policies and Plans
House Bill 2006, passed during the 2023 Legislative Session and signed by Governor Jim Justice on March 6, 2023, reorganized the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources (WVDHHR) into three separate departments, each overseen by its own cabinet-level secretary, effective January 1, 2024. When a plan refers to WVDHHR, the reader should substitute the following: West Virginia Department of Health, West Virginia Department of Health Facilities, and West Virginia Department of Human Services.
