Arvin Singh, EdD, MBA, MPH, MS, FACHDM, FACHE, has been appointed Secretary of Health for the West Virginia Morrisey Administration. Dr. Singh brings a wealth of experience and expertise, having served as Vice President of Strategy and Communications for University of Maryland Shore Regional Health (UM SRH) since 2020. In this role, he successfully led the Certificate of Need (CON) application and approval process for a groundbreaking $540 million regional medical center in Easton, Maryland. He also spearheaded the creation and implementation of UM SRH's first 340B program, expanding access to essential medications for underserved populations while optimizing financial and operational efficiencies.
